We are concerned with the inadequacy of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)'s electronic access for Veterans with disabilities and their lack of compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. One-fourth of all veterans with disabilities, including those who may seek information from the department on behalf of veterans are affected by this problem. We ask for your commitment to prioritize Section 508 compliance and to keep the public informed of developments related to improvement efforts.
